Members select our Board of Directors and participate in decision-making at our Annual General Meeting. Members are also kept informed of clinic activities at the Annual General Meeting. An election is held once per year to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors.

The Legal Clinic is governed by an independent community-based Board of Directors. The Board consists of nine members eligible for election or appointment. Three of the Directors shall be members resident in northern Frontenac or northern Lennox & Addington, three shall be members resident in Lanark or the United Counties of Leeds & Grenville, and three Directors shall be members who reside anywhere within the service area of The Legal Clinic. Members of the Board must be at least 18 years of age and able to commit approximately 3-4 hours per month to The Legal Clinic. Directors serve without remuneration.
